KDP President Masoud Barzani marks 61st anniversary of Voice of Kurdistan radio station

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) President Masoud Barzani issued a congratulatory message on Friday to commemorate the 61st anniversary of the founding of Voice of Kurdistan radio station. In his message, President Masoud Barzani extended his warm congratulations to the station's director, staff, supporters of the KDP, and the people of Kurdistan.

Reflecting on the station’s history, President Barzani described Voice of Kurdistan as a "sweet and influential memory" of the September Revolution. He emphasized the station’s role in amplifying the voice of the revolution and broadcasting the bravery of the Peshmerga forces to the Kurdish people, who were enduring oppression at the time.

The Voice of Kurdistan radio station, established in 1963 during the September Revolution, continues to serve as a significant symbol of the Kurdish struggle for freedom and self-determination.
