Arrests of international baby abduction gangs in Baghdad by Iraqi National Security Service (INSS)
INSS confirmed that the foreign gang had entered Iraqi border with a 4 day old baby, intending to sell it for $40000, by a premeditation, to someone.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The Iraqi National Security Service (INSS) in Baghdad, the capital city of Iraq, announced on Thursday, October 10th, 2024 the arrest of an international criminal band in Baghdad, who abducted babies of 4 days old.
According to a statement by the Iraqi National Security Service INSS, a gang who smuggled a 4 day old baby into Baghdad was arrested.
Based on INSS’ statement to the Iraqi News Agency (INA), “an accurate intelligence information and great technical ways used by the INSS team in Baghdad, led to detain an international gang formed by a man and a woman of foreign nationality,”
Following a judicial approval, the INSS team were able to make arrests of more gangs who kidnapped young babies and children.
INSS confirmed that the foreign gang had entered Iraqi border with a 4 day old baby, intending to sell it for $40000, by a premeditation, to someone.
“We noted that the gang confessed they had previously abducted a 14 day old baby and sold it to a sterile female,” INSS added “we handed the 4 day old baby to the relevant authorities”
In another security operation, INSS affirmed they arrested a person who was accused of human trafficking in Baghdad.
“He was with 3 children without any paperwork or identification documents to prove the relationship,” INSS declared in their statement.
All the gangs and defendants have been referred to the judiciary authority for the necessary legal actions and sentences.
