Local streets get concreted, paved in Rawanduz, Bekhal
The Mayor of Rawanduz, Ahmad Qadir said “the process of concreting 40000m2 and pavement 45000m2 local streets in a number of villages in Rawanduz District will be underway, there is also a plan to do other local streets”

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – It’s been a long while since the local residents in Rawanduz and villages around, made requests for the local streets and roads get concreted and pavement.
The 9th Cabinet at the Kurdistan Region Government designated a budget 221 million dinars from the Soran Independent Administration’s, to do around 7850 m2 streets in Bekhal village in Rawanduz.
Shahab Ahmad, a local resident from Bekhal village opened up to Kurdistan 24“paving the local streets in our village was very important at this time, in the winter season all the avenues and squares get muddy and make it difficult for people to commute”
“This year, a large area of the local streets, in Rawanduz and villages, were concreted and paved, that affected the daily life for residents and facilitated serving projects” He added.

According to Mayor’s word, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) allocated 2 billion and 150 million dinars, this year 2024, to do the roads in Rawanduz and villages in the region, some of the projects completed and some are about to finish off.
