ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - The Mosul Criminal Court has sentenced Abdul Sattar al-Habbo, Director of Mosul Municipality, to six months in prison along with financial penalties, a security source in Nineveh governorate informed local media.
The source clarified that "the decision was made on charges of administrative violations committed by the director, particularly concerning his work and illegal leasing of shops outside official procedures."
Simultaneously, the court also sentenced former Nineveh Governor Najm al-Jubouri to six months in prison and imposed financial penalties for illegally transferring sports facilities.
These sentences come as part of a series of legal actions being taken against officials in Nineveh governorate for various administrative violations.
