KDP President Barzani, Swiss Ambassador discuss KRG’s democratic progress, regional developments

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) President Masoud Barzani received Switzerland's new Ambassador to Iraq, Daniel Hunn, at his headquarters in Pirmam, where they discussed bilateral relations, recent parliamentary elections, and regional developments.
During the meeting, President Barzani congratulated Ambassador Hunn on his appointment and the reopening of the Swiss Embassy in Iraq.
"The people of Kurdistan hold special respect for the Swiss people and government," Barzani stated, expressing hope for expanded cooperation, particularly in economic infrastructure and healthcare sectors.
