KDP President Barzani, al-Hikma Leader al-Hakim discuss Iraq's stability, regional developments

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – On Tuesday, Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) President Masoud Barzani received Sayed Ammar al-Hakim, leader of Iraq's National Wisdom Movement (al-Hikma Movement), at his headquarters in Pirmam for discussions on Iraq's political landscape and regional developments.

During the meeting, al-Hakim congratulated President Barzani and the people of Kurdistan on the successful completion of the Oct. 20 Kurdistan parliamentary elections, describing it as a significant achievement for the region's democratic process.

Both sides exchanged views on Iraq's political situation, Kurdistan Region-Federal Government relations, and recent political and security developments in the region.

They emphasized the importance of maintaining Iraq's stability amid regional challenges.
