PM Barzani expresses sadness for the victims of Spain's flash floods
Since the beginning of the week, Spain has been hit by heavy downpours and fierce winds caused by a storm over the Mediterranean Sea, with up to a year's worth of rain falling in just hours.
ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani on Wednesday in a post on X expressed his sadness for the victims of the flash floods in southern Spain.
“I’m saddened by the devastating flash floods in southern Spain. My thoughts are with the victims, their families, and the people of Spain in this difficult time,” the prime minister said.

In eastern Valencia, the body responsible for emergency services announced a provisional death toll of 92, adding that bodies are still being recovered and identified.
