ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The 10th Round of the Halabja Pomegranate and Autumn Festival has started on Thursday, October 31st, 2024. 

That annual festival is for three days between 8:00 a.m. until 18:00 pm by Kurdistan Region local time, in the festival there are Halabja’s famous pomegranates arranged in an impressive way.

Traditional home-made pomegranates syrup, other fruits syrups, painting, funfair and handicrafts are in the show.

Last year alone, Halabja had 350.000 tourists visited the festival, this year the British Consul General, Andrew Bizley attended on Thursday, October 31st, 2024.
