ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The 14th Infantry Brigade of the Peshmerga Forces, in coordination with the 14th Infantry Division of the Iraqi Army, carried out a comprehensive security operation on Saturday morning.

The operation, which commenced at 6 a.m., focused on the villages of Kushafi Khawaro and Kushafi Sarw, extending to the banks of the Great Zab River. The joint forces meticulously searched the area to bolster regional security and prevent any potential threats. The operation concluded successfully by the afternoon.

These collaborative efforts are part of an ongoing campaign to root out suspected ISIS hideouts in the region. In some operations, the Iraqi Air Force has provided critical support, deploying F-16 fighter jets to target and eliminate ISIS strongholds and bases.
