Iraqi delegates arrived in Erbil for MEPS Forum 2024
The delegation is expected to attend the fifth MEPS Forum 2024 in Duhok on Friday, November 22nd, 2024. The forum title for this year is the Middle East Peace and Security Forum (MEPS2024).

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – The Interior Minister of the Kurdistan Region Government, Rebar Ahmed, Office Administrator in the Council of Ministers at the Kurdistan Region Government, Amanj Rahim, Director of the Department of Coordination and Follow-Up, Abdul Hakim Khasraw, and Erbil Governor Omed Khoshnaw welcomed a high-level Iraqi delegation, at the Erbil International Airport, at Thursday night.
The Iraqi delegation are Nasr coalition Leader and former Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi, Iraqi National Security Advisor, Qasim al-Araji and a number of other Iraqi parliamentarians and governmental advisers.

There are 124 academics from 40 different countries and a number of political and governmental officials from the Kurdistan Region and Iraq, participating.
According to the announcement by the forum organizers, it is held in collaboration with Harvard, Cambridge, Atlantic Council, Wilton Park and Crisis Response Council.
The Middle East peace and security forum is an annual event organized by the American University of Kurdistan in Duhok for making and improving peace and security.
