Iraqi FM Fuad Hussein warns of potential threat of war on Iraq
Mr. Hussein expressed his concerns about the situation in the region with a serious Israeli threat to Iraq.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – According to his speech in the fifth Middle East Peace and Security Conference (MEPS24), the Iraqi Federal Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein warned of a real potential threat of war extending to Iraq country.
Hussein revealed that they have received a letter from Israeli Government Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu saying “the armed groups are attacking Israel from Iraq.”
The wider region of Middle East is in war, and Iraq is part of that region, there are concerns and warnings by seniors in Iraqi and Kurdistan Region governments about escalating the tensions of the retaliation war between Iran and Israel.
Mr. Hussein expressed his concerns about the situation in the region with a serious Israeli threat on Iraq.
“We have received a letter from Netanyahu and a letter from the UN Secretary-General, as well as the Security Council" He further added "the Iraqi Government does not want war and we are not a part of it, and we want to deter war.”
Kurdistan 24 understood from Husseins speech that the Iraqi Prime Minister is in consistent contact with Shiite politicians and leaders regarding that matter.
Furthermore, in constant contact and attempts with the leaders of the groups and with the Iranian side.
