Kurdistan Factions delegates visited Federal Supreme Court President to dispute employees’ monthly payrolls

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) –The President of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Mohammad Abboud discussed the decision regarding employees’ payrolls in Kurdistan Region with a delegation from the Kurdistan blocs on Tuesday.
It is announced in a statement by the media department of the Federal Supreme Court that the Federal Court President welcomed, at his court headquarters, the Iraqi Parliament Deputy Speaker Shakhwan Abdullah, and accompanying delegation.
The department also highlighted that Judge Abboud appreciated and emphasized the legislative and oversight role by the Iraqi House of Representatives.
It is understood by Kurdistan 24 that the attendees discussed that the decision number 224 with its unified 269/Federal/2023 by the Federal Supreme Court which is relevant to the employees’ monthly payrolls in Kurdistan Region, and the accuracy of implementing its procedures regarding this decision.
Furthermore, they disputed its basis to serve all Iraqi individuals’ rights, noting the representatives stressed the other firm and decisive decisions were based on the constitution, as well as protecting the rights of Iraqis without discrimination between its components.
Kurdish Representatives Blocs were consisted of the Deputy Chairman of the KDP faction, Mariwan Qarani, the Head of the PUK faction, Harem Kamal, the Head of the New Generation faction, Srwa Abdulwahid, the Head of the Islamic Union faction, Jamal Kochar and the Head of the Islamic Group faction, Soran Omar.
