ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – On Monday, the Kurdistan Region’s Presidency issued a statement regarding a recent meeting between the Kurdistan Region’s President Nechirvan Barzani and Russia’s Ambassador to Iraq Elbrus Kutrashev.
The meeting between the two sides discussed the bilateral relations between Russia and Kurdistan Region and Iraq, stressing the desire to further develop and enhance joint cooperation in various fields.
The statement also highlighted that both sides exchanged views on topics such as Erbil-Baghdad relations, the recent election in the Kurdistan Region, the ongoing political dialogues between various political parties to from a new government in Kurdistan, the first session of the sixth term of KRG parliament.
