Prime Minister Masrour Barzani arrives in Manama for two-days official visit

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – On Monday, the Kurdistan Region’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani arrived at Manama, the capital of the Kingdom of Bahrain on a two-day official visit.

According to the statement issued by the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), the goal behind the two-day visit, upon official invitation by the Kingdom of Bahrain, is to strengthen the bilateral relations between Manama and Erbil.

Moreover, the recent unfolding event in Syria and broader regional developments in the Middle East will be discussed.

As stated, the visit will last for two days and Prime Minister Masrour Barzani will hold high-level discussions with senior officials of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The visit, according to the KRG statement, is part of the ongoing diplomatic efforts by the Kurdistan Regional Government to strengthen KRG’s international relations, in particular with the Gulf nations.
