ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - On Tuesday, the Kurdistan Region’s President Nechirvan Barzani met with Jan Snaidauf, the new Czech Ambassador to Iraq, according to a statement by the Kurdistan Region’s Presidency.
During the meeting, Kurdistan Region’s Barzani extended congratulations and expressed full support from himself and the relevant Kurdistan Regional authorities to help the ambassador succeed in his diplomatic mission.
The new Czech Ambassador expressed his enthusiasm for visiting the Kurdistan Region and stressed that his country views its relations with the Kurdistan Region and Iraq with great importance.
He specified that they will work to enhance and reinforce mutual cooperation and relations across various sectors.

The statement by the Kurdistan Region Presidency also noted that the Czech Consul General to the Kurdistan Region Karel Kortánek was also in attendance during the meeting.
