Erbil-Athens flights to resume on February 15
“Trade through Erbil International Airport in 2024 has increased by 25% compared to 2023,” Hoshyar added.
ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Ahmed Hoshyar, Director General of Erbil International Airport, told Kurdistan24 on Sunday that flights between Erbil and Athens will resume on Feb. 15, 2025.
“Trade through Erbil International Airport in 2024 has increased by 25% compared to 2023,” Hoshyar added.
He also said that in 2024 there will be about 2,500 tons of trade per month, an increase of approximately 6,000 tons compared to 2023.
"Erbil Airport has been the leading airport in Iraq for cargo for the past four years," he stated.
