HTS fighters raid Kurdish-populated neighborhood in Damascus
Videos shared on social media showed dozens of masked, armed personnel raiding the neighborhood.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Syrian activists reported on Wednesday that fighters from Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) and the General Security Office stormed the Kurdish-populated Zorava neighborhood (aka Wadi al-Mashari) in Damascus.
Videos shared on social media showed dozens of masked, armed personnel raiding the neighborhood.
Other footage depicts civilians inside a bus being subjected to physical torture by armed men.
Activists claim that approximately 100 civilians were detained, while the Military Operations Management, which overthrew the regime in Syria, suggested that the campaign, which began Wednesday afternoon, was conducted under the pretext of searching for weapons.
Analysts question the Management's ability to handle the situation effectively amid ongoing human rights violations targeting minorities under the guise of their connection to the Assad regime.
