PM Barzani meets Jordan's Crown Prince in Davos to strengthen bilateral ties

During the meeting, Crown Prince Hussein highlighted the long-standing friendly relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Kingdom of Jordan.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah of Jordan on Wednesday in Davos, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum 2025.

During the meeting, Crown Prince Hussein highlighted the long-standing friendly relations between the Kurdistan Region and the Kingdom of Jordan. He reaffirmed Jordan's readiness to further strengthen bilateral ties across various sectors.

Prime Minister Barzani expressed his gratitude to Jordan and King Abdullah for their continued support of the Kurdistan Region at different stages. He emphasized the importance of maintaining and expanding cooperation between the two sides.

The discussions also covered the latest developments in Syria, with both leaders underscoring the significance of ensuring peace, stability, and the protection of the rights of all communities in the war-torn country.
