ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met with Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, on Wednesday during the World Government Summit 2025 in Dubai.

According to a statement from the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG), the meeting focused on strengthening cultural and artistic collaboration between the Kurdistan Region and Dubai. Both leaders emphasized the importance of fostering cultural exchange and expanding opportunities in the creative sector.

Discussions also highlighted the Kurdistan Region’s model of peaceful coexistence and the promotion of unity and harmony among different communities. Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to advancing cultural diplomacy as a bridge for mutual understanding and global peace.

The meeting reflects a shared vision of using arts and culture to strengthen international ties and promote values of inclusivity and cooperation.
