President Barzani, Iraqi President discuss strengthening cooperation in Erbil

According to a statement from Barzani Headquarters, the leaders engaged in constructive discussions about Iraq’s political landscape, the relationship between the KRG and the Federal Iraqi Government, and the importance of collaboration to address key challenges.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – President Masoud Barzani welcomed Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid to Erbil’s Pirmam district on Wednesday for a high-level meeting focused on fostering unity and cooperation.

According to a statement from Barzani Headquarters, the leaders engaged in constructive discussions about Iraq’s political landscape, the relationship between the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) and the Federal Iraqi Government, and the importance of collaboration to address key challenges. Both sides emphasized the need for continued dialogue and coordination to promote stability and progress.

In a separate meeting, President Barzani also held talks with Hadi al-Amiri, Secretary-General of the Badr Organization, to discuss recent national and regional developments. Their discussions underscored the significance of joint efforts in navigating Iraq’s evolving political and security dynamics.
