ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — President Masoud Barzani welcomed Ahmed Safadi, Speaker of the Jordanian House of Representatives, and his accompanying delegation on Saturday in Pirmam, marking a significant diplomatic engagement that highlighted the deep-rooted ties between the Kurdistan Region and the Kingdom of Jordan.

According to a statement released by Barzani Headquarters, the meeting provided an opportunity for both sides to exchange views on the evolving situation in the region. Discussions covered a range of pressing issues and reflected a shared understanding of the challenges facing the Middle East today.

Both President Barzani and Speaker Safadi emphasized the historical bonds of friendship that have long connected the Kurdistan Region and Jordan.
