During the event, Prime Minister Barzani extended his congratulations to Dutch Consul General Adriaan IJsselstein and the consulate staff, expressing his best wishes for their continued success in strengthening the growing ties between the Kurdistan Region and the Netherlands.
Dutch National Day, also known as Koningsdag, is celebrated on April 27th to honor the King's birthday. It is marked by nationwide festivities, including flea markets, concerts, and outdoor parties. People dress in orange, symbolizing the Dutch royal family, and enjoy traditional food and drinks.
