PM Barzani Meets Thai Delegation to Boost Bilateral Ties

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzani met on Tuesday with a high-level Thai delegation led by Dusit Manapan, Advisor to the Thai Foreign Minister, to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides, the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) said in a statement.

The meeting, attended by Supark Prongthura, Thai Ambassador to Jordan and Iraq, focused on strengthening bilateral relations across multiple sectors, including trade, investment, tourism, education, health, and digitalization.

The Thai delegation expressed its commitment to expanding mutual cooperation and building stronger ties with the Kurdistan Region, emphasizing the importance of partnership and knowledge-sharing in key development areas.

The visit underscores growing international interest in deepening relations with the Kurdistan Region and exploring new opportunities for collaboration.
