This declaration came as Barzani oversaw the signing of two landmark energy agreements with American companies HKN Energy and WesternZagros. Collectively valued at over $110 billion over their lifetimes, these deals aim to develop the Miran and Topkhana-Kurdamir gas fields in Sulaymaniyah province.
