ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Israel's Home Front Command announced Saturday evening that the immediate threat from Iran’s missile attacks has subsided, allowing citizens to exit shelters and return home. However, authorities cautioned residents to remain vigilant and avoid lingering near designated shelters due to the continued possibility of further strikes.

The announcement came shortly after the second wave of Iranian missile attacks targeting Israeli territory. According to the Israeli military, while the situation has stabilized, security officials remain on high alert given the volatile regional climate.

Earlier in the day, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched two successive barrages of ballistic and cruise missiles targeting multiple sites across Israel. Tehran framed the assault as retaliation for Israeli airstrikes on Tehran and 11 other Iranian provinces.

Turkish state-run Anadolu Agency reported that the combined Iranian missile strikes have left at least one Israeli woman dead and 63 others injured. Israeli defense systems intercepted many of the missiles, though several reached populated areas, triggering widespread emergency alerts.

The IRGC stated that its strikes targeted what it described as “nuclear and strategic centers” near Tel Aviv, and signaled that further developments may follow.

As tensions continue to mount, regional and international actors have called for restraint, warning that further escalation could ignite a broader military conflict in the Middle East.
