Iran’s Top Military Chief Warns of Punitive Strike, Urges Civilians in Tel Aviv and Haifa to Evacuate
In a video message, Mousavi accused Israel of breaching international laws by targeting civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, under the guise of attacking Iranian military infrastructure.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Seyyed Abdolrahim Mousavi, issued a stark warning on Tuesday, threatening a “punitive operation” in response to recent Israeli attacks and urging civilians in Tel Aviv and Haifa to evacuate for their safety.
In a video message, Mousavi accused Israel of breaching international laws by targeting civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, under the guise of attacking Iranian military infrastructure.
“The operations carried out by the Revolutionary Guards Air Force and Air Defense, along with the army, police, and Ministry of Defense, have inflicted significant blows on the enemy,” Mousavi said. “But what has been executed so far is only a warning—merely defensive in nature.”
He cautioned, “We warn residents of the occupied Palestinian territories, especially Tel Aviv and Haifa, to leave these areas immediately for their safety.”
Mousavi emphasized Iran’s historical stance of resistance to aggression. “The great Iranian nation has never surrendered to oppression and will not be subdued by the brutal actions of the Israeli regime,” he stated.
He concluded by asserting that recent killings of civilians, scholars, and military commanders would only deepen the resolve of Iran’s armed forces to impose “regrettable consequences” on Israel.
