Iran's Military Chief Vows Continued Precision Strikes Amid Ongoing Conflict
The Chief of General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, stated Thursday that recent ballistic missile strikes were a calculated and precise response by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — An Iranian military leader has pledged to sustain targeted operations against strategic Israeli sites as tensions between Tehran and Tel Aviv escalate into a second week of direct conflict.
The Chief of General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, Major General Abdolrahim Mousavi, stated Thursday that recent ballistic missile strikes were a calculated and precise response by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), aimed at what Tehran considers legitimate military targets.
“With God’s support, we will defeat all the objectives of the occupying regime and continue our attacks without hesitation,” Mousavi said during a visit to an air force base, according to the semi-official Tasnim News Agency.
Mousavi emphasized Iran’s intention to strike what he described as “sensitive points” within Israel, warning that “Iranian forces will not relent anywhere in Israel.”
The IRGC launched 25 ballistic missiles early Thursday morning, striking several targets in Tel Aviv and Haifa. Among them was Soroka Hospital in Beersheba, which Iranian media alleged had a military command post in its underground facilities. Footage released by Iranian outlets purportedly supported the claim.
This marks the seventh consecutive day of direct military exchanges between the two countries, in a conflict that has drawn growing international concern and intensified regional instability.
Despite mounting global calls for de-escalation, Iranian officials have reiterated their resolve, framing the strikes as a defensive response to what they perceive as violations by Israel.
