The Prime Minister’s message comes amid ongoing efforts in Texas to rescue stranded residents and assess the full scale of the damage. His expression of sympathy underscores the Kurdistan Region’s solidarity with the people of the United States during times of crisis.
At least 69 people have died in central Texas due to devastating flash floods that struck the Texas Hill Country. Water rescues are ongoing along the Guadalupe River, which rose rapidly early on July 4 morning to the height of a two-story building. A dozen individuals are still missing from Camp Mystic, a children's summer camp located in Kerr County.
