ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — Duhok SC has been crowned the champions of the Iraq Cup, securing a historic triumph for the club after defeating Zakho SC in a dramatic penalty shootout.

The final match concluded in a 0-0 goalless draw after 120 minutes of play, forcing the game into a decisive penalty shootout to determine the winner.

Duhok SC emerged victorious from the spot-kicks, winning the shootout 5 to 3.
