ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Iraqi Meteorological Organization and Seismology announced on Friday that a wave of dust storms will begin on Saturday, accompanied by rising temperatures.

Dust storms are expected, with temperatures remaining similar in the north and south, and slightly higher in the central region.

Duhok and Sulaimani will reach 42 degrees Celsius, Erbil will see 43 degrees Celsius, Wasit and Babylon will hit 47 degrees Celsius, and Basra will peak at 50 degrees Celsius.

On Sunday, the weather will remain clear, with temperatures generally consistent with previous days. Northwest winds will intensify in the eastern parts of the central and southern regions, potentially triggering dust storms.

Monday's forecast predicts clear weather with some clouds in the eastern parts of the northern region. Temperatures will be similar to those of the previous days, and northwest winds will blow at moderate speeds in the eastern areas of the central and southern regions.

On Tuesday, the weather will again be clear, with some clouds in the northern region and an overall increase in temperatures.
