EU Ambassador to Iraq Klemens Semtner Visited Kurdistan24

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – On Monday, Klemens Semtner, Ambassador of the European Union to Iraq, visited Kurdistan24 and was received by its General Manager, Shaho Tayeb.

Stephan Wendt, the new Head of the European Union Office in Erbil, also attended the meeting. 

During their meeting, Ambassador Semtner praised Kurdistan24 for operating as a national media outlet in the Kurdistan Region and emphasized the media's role in promoting development and stability.

The General Manager of Kurdistan24 reaffirmed the outlet's commitment to media ethics and social responsibility in all its activities.

The meeting also included discussions on potential cooperation between Kurdistan24 and the EU Delegation to Iraq on media-related issues.
