Chevening opened its doors to applicants from Kurdistan Region, Iraq

The British Consul General to Kurdistan Region Andrew Bizley encourages applicants to start filling in their applications and to submit.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan 24) – Chevening opened its doors to the applicants who want to pursue their higher education in UK, for free.

The Chevening Scholarship Program has been offering seats to Kurdish and Iraqi universities’ graduates for decades.

The Consul General at the British Consulate General for Kurdistan Region, in Erbil, Andrew Bizley announced through the social platform accounts by the British Consulate General that Chevening program has started to accept applications from who are interested to study in the UK, from August 6th, 2024.

He highlighted the UK high academic institutions accept applications from Kurdistan Region’s applicants as well, and it is for free.

Many well-known universities in the UK, through Chevening program, offer seats to Iraqi graduates including applicants from the Kurdistan Region.  

The British Consulate General in Erbil announced that news over their accounts on its social platforms.

Mr. Bizley encourages applicants to start filling in their applications and to submit.    

The well-recognized, internationally, universities in the UK :

Institution of University College London, where Mr. Bizely’s home town. His sister is teaching at that university!

Queen Mary University of London 

University of Birmingham

University Manchester

University of Leeds

University of Aberdeen, and many more universities across the UK.
