In another part of the meeting, they discussed the current situation in Syria, the Geneva peace talks, and the relations between Iraq and Turkey.
Moreover, Erdogan invited the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) delegation to Turkey to discuss the economic situation in Kurdistan, the Kurdistan Region Press office stated.

President Barzani arrived at the Presidential Palace in Istanbul and met with Turkish President Erdogan at 5:00 p.m. (Erbil time).
According to a Kurdistan24 reporter, the meeting lasted for nearly two hours.
