PHOTOS: Gorran supporters mourn as party leader Nawshirwan Mustafa laid to rest
On Friday, the head of the Gorran Movement Nawshirwan Mustafa, 73, died following a lengthy fight with cancer.

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region (Kurdistan24) – On Saturday, the body of the late Gorran (Change) Movement leader was laid to rest in Zargata Hill, where the party's headquarter is located in Sulaimani, Kurdistan Region.
With thousands of Gorran Movement supporters, officials, and representatives of other political parties in the Kurdistan Region in attendance, Nawshirwan Mustafa was buried near his home in Zargata Hill.
The first day of mourning for the late Gorran Movement leader was held at the Ahmed Haj Ali mosque in Sulaimani where hundreds of party supporters and representatives of political parties in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq paid their respects.
The second day of mourning is scheduled to be held at the Sawaf mosque in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, on Sunday.
