American celebrity takes Kushner-inspired photo in homage to Peshmerga women

The next two weeks episodes of Full Frontal is to be on Kurdistan and Iraq.

LOS ANGELES, United States (Kurdistan 24) - Well-known American comedian and TV host who traveled to Kurdistan Region and visited Peshmerga is to air two episodes on the Region.

In homage to Kurdish Peshmerga women, Samantha Bee, host of popular "Full Frontal" took an all-female photo, mirroring Jared Kushner's photo with male soldiers.

"We spent time with female Peshmerga soldiers. We went to a refugee camp...We met a lot of interesting people," Bee told Stephen Colbert of The Late Show.

Bee also mentioned how to their utter surprise, some Kurds name their male and female children after Trump.

Although ceaselessly criticized at home for domestic policies, Trump is seen in the Middle East as a stronger force than Obama in battling the Islamic State terrorism that has destroyed countless lives.

To his Middle Eastern fans' dismay, Colbert who is otherwise well-loved for his astute, funny and poignant comments and observations, expressed utter cluelessness about Kurdistan.

While interviewing Bee, Colbert asked if she was safe, could fly there directly, and had access to Twitter in Kurdistan Region.

Bee, a former correspondent in Jon Stewart's Daily Show, is a Canadian-American political commentator, actress, and television host.

President Donald Trump’s son-in-law and senior advisor was appointed Middle East policy specialist shortly after Trump won the election.

In April Kushner traveled to Iraq where a bloody war against the Islamic State is going on.

After his photos in Iraq were broadcasted in media, he was mocked for being appointed to a position he had no previous expertise in.
