KRG delegation to attend St. Petersburg International Economic Forum
The forum is scheduled to kick off in St. Petersburg on Wednesday and continue until November 8 in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and several other Russian and foreign officials.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – A delegation of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) consisting of Kamal Muslim Saeed, Minister of Trade and Industry of the KRG, and Mohammed Shukri, Chairman of the Kurdistan Board of Investment, on Tuesday arrived in Russia to attend the 27th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.
The forum is scheduled to kick off in St. Petersburg on Wednesday and continue until November 8 in the presence of Russian President Vladimir Putin and several other Russian and foreign officials.
KRG received an official invitation to take part in the forum, which will be attended by 12,000 people and representatives from 130 countries.
Founded in 1997, the forum has brought together more than 10,000 people from over 120 countries to discuss economic issues. The forum has been held annually in St. Petersburg since 1997. The Russian President has supervised the event since 2006.
