Duhok University to open diplomacy program with US institute assistance

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – Duhok University and the Institute of World Politics on Tuesday signed an agreement to open a diplomacy program in its College of Political Sciences.
Dawood Atrushi, President of Duhok University, delivered a speech at the signing ceremony.
“Kurdish students will be integrated into the US education system through this diplomacy program,” the President said.
Atrushi also stated that as the world faces many challenges and works to combat climate change better together, the establishment of the program is timely.
“As part of the program, students will gain cultural and strategic knowledge, as well as build strong international connections,” he added.
He then revealed that the program would be for one year and the participants will receive a joint certificate from Duhok University and the Institute of World Politics at the end of the program.
“We have established a common method; the topics have been determined and teachers from both sides teach,” Atrushi noted.
Meanwhile, he mentioned that they can accept up to 25 students in the first phase.
