Iraqi Parliament Security, Defense Committee raised concerns on fire incidents

Iraqi Minister of Interior Abdul Amir al-Shammari has only 15 days to fully investigate the fire incidents occurred in the south and middle of Iraq

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Iraqi Minister of Interior Abdul Amir al-Shammari has been given only 15 days by the Committee on Security and Defense of the Iraqi Parliament, so as to deeply investigate all the fire incidents occurred since the hot summer season started.

Recently, a fierce fire broke out into many places and settings in the south and middle of Iraq. On another side, the hot weather is continuously on the rise due to the global warming and the very warm summer season in the south and middle of Iraq.

The country hugely suffered from the damages the fire caused, and the Committee on Security and Defense have given a limited time to the Minister of Interior to fully investigate those incidents and give his report and outcome in 15 days.

The committee has raised warning and concerns about such fire broke out into hospitals, public settings and centers.
