Peshmerga Ministry, Coalition forces discuss enhancing logistics system

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – A high-level meeting was convened on Monday, chaired by Lieutenant Colonel Hoshmand Haider, Dpty Chief of Staff for Administrative Affairs of the Peshmerga Ministry. The meeting saw the participation of several senior officials, including the Director of Coordination and Relations, the Director of Military Equipment, the Director of Communications, and the Director of IT of the Peshmerga Ministry.
Representatives from the Coalition Forces in the Kurdistan Region were also in attendance, accompanied by John Kurtz, supervisor of the Coalition Forces Logistics System Project.
The primary agenda of the meeting was to discuss the procedures for establishing a robust logistics system for the Peshmerga forces. Following detailed deliberations, it was decided that a joint team would conduct a field visit to assess and determine the optimal locations and methods for installing the new system.
The implementation of this logistics system aims to enhance connectivity and coordination among all units within the Ministry of Peshmerga, significantly improving operational efficiency and readiness.
Coalition forces in the Kurdistan Region play a crucial role in maintaining security and stability. With their presence, local security forces can receive support, training, and resources to effectively combat terrorist organizations and maintain law and order. Additionally, the coalition forces contribute to building the capacity of local security institutions, enhancing their ability to independently address security challenges in the region.
