Kurdistan Region Prime Minister Masrour Barzanin chairs Council of Ministers’ weekly meeting
According to the official announcement by the Kurdistan Region Government, the meeting covers the electricity services, Hajj’s 2024 procedures, personal bank accounts and employees’ payrolls.
ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Kurdistan Region's Prime Minister Masrour Barzani and the Deputy Prime Minister Qubad Talabani hold the weekly meeting on Wednesday in the Council of Ministers’.
The meeting’s main topics are the electricity providence, the charges as well as to discuss the discount ratio on the debit bill that people are in. Also to report the Hajj procedures for this year, and the employees’ payrolls.
According to the official announcement by the Kurdistan Region Government, the first discussion will cover the electricity services in the Kurdistan Region during summer season, the attempts and approaches that the Ministry of Electricity took to improve to providing the service.
However, to discuss the Ministry’s previous suggestion regarding the Council of Minister’s decision 249 on March 27, 2024; it's decided to discount the rate by 20% of the debt bill.
The second part of the session is to listen to, the Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs of the Kurdistan Region Government, Pshtiwan Sadiq’s report regarding the Hajj 2024, the procedures and the death records for 2024.
The Kurdistan Region’s Minister of Health Saman Barzanji is expected to make his presentation regarding the Hajj condition in the health perspective.
The last topic to cover is the region’s employees’ payrolls, operating personal bank accounts, the Kurdistan Region Government’s commitment, the salaries and the relevant procedures, auditing from the Federal and the Region Government Finance Observation boards, the treasury and budgets, the region’s monthly non-oil income resources, and rearranging the USA’s grants to Peshmerga’s forces.
