Iraqi PM invites Iran's President-elect Masoud Pezeshkian for official visit
In a statement from Sudani's Press Office, it was reported that the Iraqi Prime Minister congratulated Iranian President-elect Pezeshkian on his recent electoral victory during a phone conversation.

ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani has extended an invitation to Iran's newly elected President Masoud Pezeshkian to visit Iraq, aiming to strengthen bilateral ties and address various issues.
In a statement from Sudani's Press Office, it was reported that the Prime Minister congratulated President Pezeshkian on his recent electoral victory during a phone conversation.
The discussion also covered the current state of relations between Baghdad and Tehran.
The statement highlighted the emphasis on continuing collaborative efforts on security and economic matters between the two nations.
Reformist Masoud Pezeshkian became the 9th President of Iran, securing 53.7 percent of the votes in the second round of the 14th presidential election.
A total of 30,530,157 votes were cast across approximately 59,000 polling centers nationwide, with Pezeshkian receiving 16,384,403 votes.
