ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – In a prolonged clash between ISIS fighters and Iraqi security forces in Diyala province, an Iraqi army officer and three soldiers were killed, with four others sustaining injuries.

The firefight, lasting several hours, saw the intervention of the Iraqi army and air forces, who provided critical support. This intervention resulted in the death of three ISIS fighters. One of them was a commander of the mobile units in Diyala province, as confirmed by Kurdistan24.
