KRG meteorology directorate forecasts temperature increase across Kurdistan Region

The forecast for tomorrow promises sunny skies throughout the region, bringing higher temperatures to many areas.

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – The Kurdistan Regional Government's (KRG) Meteorology and Seismology Directorate announced on Sunday that the region will experience a significant temperature rise over the coming days. According to the directorate, temperatures are expected to increase by 2-3 degrees Celsius compared to today's readings.

The forecast for tomorrow promises sunny skies throughout the region, bringing higher temperatures to many areas. The highest temperatures, measured in degrees Celsius, are anticipated as follows:

- Erbil: 42°C

- Sulaimani: 41°C

- Duhok: 42°C

- Kirkuk: 46°C

- Halabja: 43°C

- Zakho: 42°C

- Soran Independent Administration: 41°C

- Haji Omaran Sub-district: 30°C

- Garmiyan Independent Administration: 46°C

Residents are advised to take the necessary precautions to stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to the sun during peak hours. The directorate continues to monitor weather conditions and will provide updates as necessary.
