ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – The Iraqi Security Media Cell announced on Monday that a joint operation between Iraqi military intelligence and the Sulaimani Asayish Directorate led to the destruction of two ISIS terrorist hideouts in the Kirkuk Operations Command sector.

The operation, carried out in the Bor Mountains near Leylan District, involved forces from the Iraqi Army's 63rd Special Forces Brigade, the 8th Division, and the Sulaimani Asayish.

In addition to destroying the ISIS hideouts, the security forces also neutralized two explosive devices and confiscated a cache of weapons, ammunition, and logistical supplies.

This successful operation highlights the continued efforts of Iraqi security forces to disrupt and dismantle ISIS terrorist networks in the region.
