ERBIL (Kurdistan24) – On Tuesday, the Kurdistan Region's Prime Minister Masrour Barzani welcomed Pakistani Ambassador to Iraq Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmad in Erbil.

The two officials engaged in a productive dialogue covering various aspects of bilateral relations.

They reviewed the latest developments in Iraq and underscored the importance of deepening ties between the Kurdistan Region and Pakistan.

Additionally, they discussed the current situation of the Pakistani community residing in the Kurdistan Region.

The possibility of establishing a Pakistani consulate in the Region to further facilitate cooperation and exchange was also explored.
