KDP Vice President Masrour Barzani calls on KDP cadres to uphold party’s legacy at Erbil meeting

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) — Masrour Barzani, Vice President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), convened with key KDP cadres in Erbil province on Tuesday to discuss the party’s enduring legacy and future role in Kurdistan.

During the meeting, Barzani emphasized the KDP’s historic representation of all classes, communities, and parts of Kurdistan since its founding by the late Mullah Mustafa Barzani. He highlighted the party’s pivotal role in the region’s national struggles and achievements, urging party members and supporters to embody the values of loyalty and pride that have defined the KDP.

“During times of crisis and hardship, the KDP has always been at the forefront of defending the dignity of the Kurdish people,” Barzani said, noting that the party continues to maintain the trust of the majority of Kurds.

Barzani also reiterated the importance of the KDP in the continued development and prosperity of Kurdistan, stating that the party remains a beacon of hope for the region. “The victory of the KDP is a victory for every patriotic Kurd,” he concluded.
