ERBIL (Kurdistan24)— On Saturday, the Kurdistan Region’s Prime Minister Masrour Barzani extended his warmest congratulations to the Union of Islamic Scholars of Kurdistan on its 54th anniversary.
In a statement released today, he lauded the Union's leadership, members, and all religious teachers in the Kurdistan Region, wishing them continued success in their endeavors.
"We deeply respect the role of the Union of Scholars and Religious Teachers," the Prime Minister stated. He emphasized his hope that the Union will continue to foster tolerance, mutual acceptance, and peaceful coexistence among all communities within Kurdistan.
