ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Kurdistan Region President Nechirvan Barzani cast his vote at a designated polling station in Erbil on Sunday, October 20, 2024, emphasizing the significance of the sixth Kurdistan parliamentary elections for the region's democratic process.

The President extended special gratitude to Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, Chief Justice Faiq Zidan, Electoral Commission head Judge Jassim, UNAMI, and supporting nations for their assistance in facilitating the elections.
