Kurdistan Parliamentary Election results to be announced Monday evening
The Commission will reveal the initial outcomes of the sixth parliamentary term within the designated 24-hour timeframe following the closure of polls.
ERBIL (Kurdistan 24) – Iraq's Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC) confirmed that the preliminary results of the Kurdistan Parliament elections will be announced on Monday evening, in Baghdad.
On Sunday, IHEC stated that the preliminary results would be released 24 hours after the conclusion of general voting in the Kurdistan Region parliamentary elections.
The Commission will reveal the initial outcomes of the sixth parliamentary term within the designated 24-hour timeframe following the closure of polls.
In an official statement, IHEC cautioned the public about potential misinformation: "Misleading news might circulate before the official announcement. Please verify information from official sources only."
The Commission also reported a significant voter turnout of 72% in the general voting phase of the Kurdistan parliamentary elections, demonstrating strong civic participation in this democratic process.
This marks a crucial moment in Kurdish democratic history as the region awaits the results of its sixth parliamentary elections since the establishment of the Kurdistan Region's parliament.
