Kurdistan Preliminary Results Sixth Round of Parliamentary Elections

ERBIL (Kurdistan24) - According to Iraq's Independent High Electoral Commission (IHEC), the Kurdistan Region's parliamentary elections, held on Oct. 18 (special voting) and Oct. 20 (general voting), achieved approximately 70% overall voter turnout. 

Here are the detailed preliminary unofficial results by electoral district:

ERBIL DISTRICT (99% counted, 72% turnout):

- KDP: 345,822 votes

- PUK: 108,329 votes

- New Generation: 100,606 votes

- Kurdistan Islamic Union: 19,744 votes

- Kurdistan Justice Group: 23,351 votes

- Gorran: 1,422 votes

- Helwest Movement: 16,185 votes

- People's Front: 9,401 votes

- Rami Hikmat: 3,577 votes

SULAIMANI DISTRICT (99% counted, 65% turnout):

- KDP: 57,144 votes

- PUK: 253,373 votes

- New Generation: 133,206 votes

- Kurdistan Islamic Union: 36,000 votes

- Kurdistan Justice Group: 41,811 votes

- Gorran: 10,049 votes

- Helwest Movement: 28,574 votes

- People's Front: 19,920 votes

- Kurdistan Region Alliance: 7,523 votes

- Sardam Alliance: 3,427 votes

DUHOK DISTRICT (99% counted, 78% turnout):

- KDP: 384,383 votes

- PUK: 27,791 votes

- New Generation: 44,001 votes
